Brutta Figura is an entertaining travel diary, covering the misadventures of a 25 year old woman backpacking through Italy for 30 days. Published in 2021, by Chiado Books, in Brazil and Portugal. As author and art director, I created the concept of the cover, watercolor illustration, and made sure the typesetting was clean and elegant, as a perfectly poured Italian cappuccino.
